Do you hear what I hear? My blogging voice returns after months of blogyngitis. Not that I was ill or feeling unwell. Just the opposite. There has been much activity, to-ing and fro-ing, creativity, socializing, organizing, graduations, salutations, calculations, fabrications (not the lying kind), soccerations, salivations and Red Sox nations. I briefly considered updating the highlights of the past couple of months then swiftly came to my senses. OK, maybe. No promises. Certainly do not hold your breath.  My hats off to you ardent bloggers. I am enjoying the present but can’t muster the energy to write about it.  Besides, this Spring and Summer has been so packed with busy times and the weather has been so gorgeous in our Hawaii Nei that I can barely take the time to leave my gardening or stop adoring my kitties to check my email even less turn on the computer. On our trip to Maine and Massachusetts last month I never checked email for 2 weeks. Yay! for vacations. How liberating!  Believe me I am not that important and thankfully, there were no do or die situations. Besides, Barry knows how to reach me if it is absolutely imperative.

This photo has nothing to do with anything in particular. It was my ever changing altar for a brief but beautiful moment and reminds me to enjoy what I have when I have it. Isn’t this pretty?

Office romance. Nooooo, not that kind. I need to love my office again. It may not be  love per se, but I need to enjoy spending time and working in there again. How about just moving around in there again. Boxes-some with my giveaway items I may add-haphazzardly tilted, papers untidily grouped-ok I just completed my taxes(I am sooo proud of myself pat-pat), shelves with stuff, desktop with stuff, drawers filled with more stuff for office stuff, booksbooksbooks, all sorts of ephemera perilously growing with a life of its own I can only surmise since I don’t know who or why anyone would put THAT in my office…and then just leave it there! Walk over it, squeeze past it, pile it higher. No more.

The attack on the office dis-organization has begun. For the month of February, and I believe it will take all month, I am going to clean my office one drawer or shelf  or tray a day. My office courtship commences.
